Vital Records

The Epping Town Clerk's Office issues certified copies of birth, death, marriage and divorce records. We have access to statewide records for the following:

 For divorce records prior to 1975, please contact the courthouse where your divorce took place.

Fees

A $15 fee applies for the issuance of one certified copy of a vital record; additional copies purchased at the same time are $10 each.

Please be aware that New Hampshire law requires that a nonrefundable search fee of $15 be collected for each record requested. If the record is located and you meet eligibility requirements, you will be issued the requested number of certified copies of that record.

• A photocopy of your ID
• Self addressed stamped envelope
• Fee of $15.00

For Birth Record

• Name at Birth, Date of Birth, Town/City of Birth
• Father’s Name (First, Last)
• Mother’s Maiden Name (First, Last)
• Purpose for which certificate is requested
• By Whom
• Relationship to Registrant

For Death Record

• Name of Deceased, Date of Death, Town/City of Death
• Purpose for which certificate is requested
• By Whom
• Relationship to Registrant

For Marriage/Civil Union Record

• Name of both parties at the time license was applied for
• Date of Marriage/Civil Union
• Place of Ceremony
• Purpose for which certificate is requested
• By Whom
• Relationship to Registrant
